In-person and Online Group Class Cancellations & refund policy
What you are paying for is a class pass (like a Yoga Pass or Gym Pass) instead of a specific class. This system allows dogs to work at their own pace and graduate early or spend more time at each level. One dog per class pass.
If your schedule changes and you give us 72 hours notice before the start of your pass, you can either:
1. transfer to a different group or private class that begins within 60 days
2. or get a 100% refund.
We manage the number of dogs in classes, so each pass has an expiration period. Please complete your classes before the expiration date, as unused classes will not be refunded.
If you withdraw with less than 72 hours notice, it prevents others from enrolling. Cancellations with less than 72 hours notice receive a credit of 50% of the unattended classes to be used within 60 days.
If withdrawal is due to unexpected human or dog illness or injury, presentation of doctor/vet note will result in a 100% of unattended class credited to your account.
Credits not used in 60 days are forfeit.
To cancel or withdraw from a class, please call us at 541-603-6868 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Group Class Attendance and Makeup Policies
We design our programs to help you meet your training goals in the fastest and most effective manner, so regular attendance is essential.
If your dog is sick and can’t come to class, you should still attend the class. You will learn so much and then be able to go home and apply it to your dog. Contact us prior to class & turn in a note from your veterinarian so we can issue you a credit for your unattended classes.
In-Person and Online Private Training – Cancellation, refunds and rescheduling
Both parties agree to only cancel or reschedule private appointments in the event of an emergency (unforeseen circumstances resulting in a need for immediate action) as openings can rarely be filled resulting in wasted time. Emergency cancellations will be rescheduled. Rescheduling non-emergency cancellations are charged our normal hourly rate. Once your appointments are scheduled no refunds will be given for any reason.
Successful dog training is about humans making changes and implementing our recommendations. Because we can not guarantee you will follow through with our suggestions, no guaranteed is made regarding success. What we can guarantee though is, you will be treated with respect, we will listen and we will give you the best advice to meet your goals.
Not all dogs do well in a class with other dogs and people. Dog that bark excessively, snarl, growl, snap, lunge or bite in an unfriendly fashion need to be enrolled in our specializaed training. We understand occasionally an owner is surprised by their dogs reactions in class. If your dog does not meet the class criteria, you agree to one of our other, more appropriate programs. Refunds will not be granted. Your dog does need training. We just have to get into the training that will meet its needs.
Only people who are physically and mentally capable of safely handling their dog can work with the dog during training. Should a safety issue be discovered, you agree to make the appropriate changes.
If you have questions or concerns about whether your dog is suitable for class, please email us at email@example.com or call 541-603-6868.
Children approved to participate in the training need a parent who is learning along with them. Children under nine years of age must be able to sit quietly on the bench. All children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
