Many dogs and sit and lay down on cue. But when it comes to staying put with distractions, they struggle. Our Easter egg golf game is a fun way to teach your dog to stay put with distractions. Ideally, your dog can sit or lay down for a period of time before you try this level of difficulty. This game is called Easter Egg Golf.
Game 2 – Easter Egg Golf
- Have your dog sit or lay down. Reward your dog
- Place your plastic Easter Egg on the ground and reward your dog several times for staying.
- If your dog is relaxed and not going for the egg, putt the egg with your golf club. Just make it move a tiny bit.
- Heavily reward your dog for staying

When that is easy, you can make it more advanced by using giving the egg a harder putt, making it move more. Have fun and post your questions and comments below. Want help with your training? You can request to have one of our trainers give you a call.
