* equipment use is dependent upon your dog being quiet in a crate so you can get out and put away equipment.

After enrolling in a program, should the instructor discover said program is not an appropriate fit for me (an inability to hear, safety issues, an inability to navigate the stairs) or my dog (excessive vocalizing, dog too stressed to eat, does not meet minimal social skills, an inability to navigate the stairs) , I agree to transfer to the program recommended by my instructor.*

This training runs as a membership. Subsequent payments are automatically applied to your chosen payment method on the day of the month you joined. Example – If you registered on the 10th, your next automated payment will be on the 10th. Cancel your membership by emailing us prior to your next automated payment. Then finish all the training that you paid for.

Agreement To Hold Harmless, Waiver And Assumption Of Risk – I understand that attendance of a dog training class is not without risk to myself, members of my family, guests who may attend, or my dog, because some of the dogs to which I will be exposed may be difficult to control and may be the cause of injury even when handled with the greatest amount of care. I hereby waive and release THE WELL-MANNERED DOG, LLC hereinafter referred to as the Training Organization, its employees, officers, members and agents from any and all liability of any nature, for injury or damage which I or my dog may suffer, including specifically, but not without limitation, any injury or damage resulting from the action of any dog, and I expressly assume the risk of such damage or injury while attending any training session, or any other function, of the Training Organization, or while on the training grounds or the surrounding area thereto. In consideration of and as inducement to the acceptance of my application for training membership by this Training Organization, I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless this Training Organization, its employees, officers, members and agents from any and all claim, or claims by any member of any family or any other person accompanying me to my training session or function to the Training Organization, or while on the grounds or the surrounding area thereto as a result of any action by any dog, including my own.*

Three houses down, another early riser broke out in a yapping frenzy when he heard us. What did Kúra do? NOTHING! He looked at me, actually, kept his leash loose, and continued our training games. Yayyy!!!!

Thank you, Debbie, for getting us started with Calmness Training and the simple idea that my bark-bark-bark pup needed to learn self-control. In a thousand tiny steps, he has learned lots and lots of self-control, and it’s fun for him and for me. It took him a long time to understand “loose leash” but once he got the idea, he has been able to “throw” that behavior at me as if to say “Look, Ma, I’m here, at your side, ready to play, ready to go!”
